The project first took shape in 2016 as a radio show, evolving into a podcast in 2019 and steadily gaining an international following. In August 2021, Bekool found its full form as Bekool Records, a record label dedicated to expanding its universe with talented artists and high-quality releases.
Today, Bekool Records brings fresh music to streaming platforms worldwide, while its visual identity shines through the mesmerizing, handmade cover illustrations of Barbara Deffo. And now, a new chapter begins: Curtiss, the founder and creative mind behind Bekool – who’s been with Balatonica since day one – is launching a monthly mix set on Balatonica Podium, starting in September. The debut set will feature unreleased tracks scheduled for later this year, with guest DJs joining in future editions. For Curtiss, it’s both a return to the thrill of being part of an online community and a continuation of a story he’s shared with Balatonica from the very start. For listeners, it’s an invitation to discover music in its purest, most soulful form.

A projekt 2016-ban indult rádióműsorként, majd 2019-ben podcasttá alakult, és lassan, de biztosan nemzetközi közönséget hódított meg. 2021 augusztusában született meg a Bekool Records, amely azóta is azon dolgozik, hogy tehetséges előadókkal és igényes megjelenésekkel építse saját zenei univerzumát.
